Hi! I’m Aniket. I’m an aerospace engineer by training and a data scientist/software engineer by trade. I work for Apple in Cupertino, where I write algorithms and software for iOS’s Car Crash Detection feature. My work spans from data analysis and visualization to software design and implementation. One of my contributions was designing and implementing the algorithm to make use of the new “G-force detector” which makes this technology possible. I also write rich interactive backend applications which, in typical Apple fashion, must remain secret.
I’m a bit of a programming language geek, and I especially love functional programming. My latest kick has been Clojure, a delightful lisp-family language with first-class persistent data structures.
